U.S. 301 expands to a four-lane divided arterial ahead of Gibonston Drive west and Boyette Road east. Gibonston Road represents a four-lane arterial linking the south Riverview area with Interstate 75 via Exit 250. Photo taken 11/24/07. Boyette Road continues Gibonston Drive east as a six-lane arterial from U.S. 301 to Allenwood Drive. Much farther north, U.S. 301 aligns itself close to Interstate 75 as it approaches Wildwood, just north of Coleman. Here U.S. 301 northbound approaches Florida's Turnpike (Florida 91), which is marked with an older shield with a slightly off representation of the state of Florida.
